Movies with Friends & Christmas in London
Can you believe it’s Christmas Eve?! I can’t believe it’s come around so quickly, I’m so excited!!
Last weekend Nathan and I had some friends over for a Christmas movie night. It was so much fun, exactly what I needed to get me in the Christmas mood! I spent all day baking and decorating Christmas shortbread, making peppermint bark, and cooking up a truly wonderful (if I say so myself) non-alcoholic mulled wine.
We ended up watching Bad Santa, which I had never seen before. Although it’s not the most warm-and-fuzzy, Christmassy of Christmas movies, it was pretty funny! We also played Christmas charades and I rustled up a Christmas movie quiz (how many times do you think I can say Christmas in this post?).
Overall, the night was a blast. It was a brilliant way to unwind after my week of essays and get into the Christmas mood. I uploaded a vlog to my YouTube channel, and you can find all of the recipes I used in the description.
Earlier this week we took a trip to London to spend some time with Nathan’s family before Christmas. We spent a day in Central London enjoying all the wonderful Christmassy things London has to offer.
We went to Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park – it was amazing! I’ve (somehow) never been before, and it more than fulfilled my expectations. Although we didn’t skate (dodgy ankle) or go on any rides (inner ear thing), just walking around and taking in all the festivities was amazing.
I’ll be uploading a vlog of the trip on the 26th, but until then I wish you a Merry Christmas (or whatever you celebrate) <3
See you soon,
